An analysis of key issues in China’s participation in global economic and financial governance
Abstract
Over the past 40 years of Reform and Opening-up, my country has been deeply involved in global economic governance and has achieved three steps from zero participation to full coverage, from one-way reliance on loans from international organizations to two-way financial cooperation with international organizations, and from learning and following to proactive and in-depth participation. changes and its international influence continue to increase. This article reviews the progress of China's participation in global economic and financial governance, focuses on analyzing the hot topics of global economic and financial governance such as the reform of the international monetary system, sovereign debt restructuring, green finance, and digital currency, and puts forward policy recommendations.
